Rent of mailing addresses & guarantees
MLS Guarantees:
1. Assignation of gender code.
2. The existence of the locality verified by the support file named 'localitario'.
3. Congruence between the postal code and the locality.
4. Congruence between the street name and the postal code (for zoned towns/cities).
5. The presence of all the information necessary for delivery by the postman.
6. The normalisation of composition of the elements:
locality - street name (for zoned towns/cities) - postal code - provincial code.
The addresses are sorted according to postal code.
The possible elimination of addresses provided in the previous 12 months.
Phone numbers from directories must be matched and clesaned with "robinson"
Ground Rules for rental contracts on commercial single-use addresses.
1) The database from which addresses are selected is the one mentioned in the letter of offer.
The owner of the list has a name and reliable references.
2) The order shall take effect as soon as it is received in writing along with all the information for billing. The addresses are delivered in a week, via e-mail, upon payment by bank transfer and the sending of the following file via e-mail with the password sent separately (unless otherwise mentioned in the letter of offer).
3) The customer/user of the data undertakes to send legitimate commercial proposals. Publicity material must mention the rights of consumers such as:
The possibility of discontinuance in the case of distance selling.
The privacy statement and the possibility of being deleted from the original lists. (Law 196/2003).
Advertising shall not contain misleading information.
In the message the customer/user will only quote the data needed for mailing/delivery; other forms of personalisation should be discussed separately under the heading of 'sponsorship'.
4) The list is rented after taking cognisance of the advertising communication and following the owner's authorisation (a request form governs its use).
5) Data to be supplied must be processed with care and confidentiality and in accordance with minimum security standards laid down by law.
6) The user must fully communicate to MLS cases of people who want to be erased from the archives (the user must be sure that the data is clearly attributable to a source proposed and provided by MLS).
7) Addresses are rented out and thus intended for single-use. After sending the promotional message the data of respondents shall enter the user database, while non-respondents shall be deleted (after 3 months from the date of delivery) as they shall be from all types of recording media. It is forbidden to copy the addresses provided even in part. It is even more forbidden to combine the information supplied with other files.
8) Responsibility of the user: this extends to all companies or people who for various reasons are involved by the user/responsible for the data processing for carrying out the action.
9) The owner of the addresses shall insert the 'teaser' addresses to check the use of names. The 'teasers' will be unique for each product provided; so in the case of anomalous use of the data the user is required to explain their origin.
10) The penalty in the case of non-compliance with paragraph 7) is a payment of 10 times the value of the list.
